How can you tell when a group of Patriotic Americans "truly" believe in their heritage? When they show up on a cold, rainy day and, despite the poorest of weather conditions, manage to place their "boots on the ground" in places where our forefathers fought to gain our Freedom. About 50 hearty souls answered the call when the SCAR Corps of Discovery invited them to join authors, historians, reporters, photographers, and plain-old "Story Tellers" to walk in the footsteps of heroes. History was relived in central North Carolina at the Revolutionary War battle sites of Clapp's Mill, Pyle's Defeat, Weitzel's Mill and Lindley's Mill. Come and see for yourself (in addition to the events of March 29, 2008, this Photo Gallery includes photographs that were taken at other events in the near past).
